Hi! I’m Karla. I’m a Speech and Language Pathology assistant, an author, a tutor, a translator/ interpreter and a Pandas syndrome advocate. For the past 20 years I’ve had the pleasure of working with children, and for the last 6 years I’ve worked with the special education population both in the school and clinic settings. I’m a wife and most importantly the mother to two beautiful daughters. When my eldest daughter was diagnosed with PANDAS I was abruptly shoved into the world of special needs parenting. A powerful connection surged with the parents and children I serve, a connection that comes not of empathy but of having walked the walk and knowing what each step entails. As a Spanish speaking advocate I vowed that I would bring awareness to non English speakers regarding PANDAS syndrome and to be source of support and understanding for parents and caregivers who feel lost. My goal is to continue to grow in every way possible and bring value and excellent service to people around the world.
